POINT OF VIEW - READERS EMAIL FROM INDIA
Hi,
Nice site...
I just want to share that I think Indian pariah dogs (dog of
mixed breed seen on the streets) are really one of the smartest,
most loving and intelligent doggies out there. So even the
thought of buying dogs seems absurd to me ! And I'm sure in
every country there are lots of adorable dogs who are homeless
and in distress.
People who are not the weak type-who derive
strength from flaunting the pedigree of their canine friend-
should adopt these homeless dogs and get a lifetime of
unconditional love... Nothing against anyone, just that true
happiness is very easily available ... :)
Thanks,
Love and Best Wishes.
Priyankana Ghosh
Thanks for your email Priyankana.
We appreciate and respect your views.
Many people all over the world do adopt homeless dogs from local dog pounds and animal shelters.
This website encourages those wanting a pet dog to visit their local animal shelter and adopt a pet.
I doubt whether India has dog pounds and hence we see so many homeless dogs roaming around.
We
hope Indian authorities will do something about this.
If more people in India think the same way as you, then the stray dogs problem perhaps could be controlled to some extent in India. Thanks again for your thoughtful email. (SmartPetDogs.com)

LUCKY

Luck is now eight weeks old!
He is a Bichon Frise and was born in Seattle on October 7, 2008.
He is very intelligent, friendly and full of energy.
Bichon Frise dogs don't shed and even though my husband has allergies but these dogs are a Hypoallergenic dog breed and hence no problem for people who suffer from dog allergies.
This breed is not good if you have very small children at home, otherwise they are great fun and a joy to have, very gentle and friendly.

Isabella was my first Puli(Middle dog). She was the smartest dog that I have ever owned as you can see with all her tittles which doesn’t including her American tittles. I was so proud of her I decided to breed her to give myself another one and ended up keeping 2, Whoopi and Angle. They have done me proud and hope to make them just as successful if not more than their mother. Puli’s are not always the best dog for first time owners for they need a lot of attention otherwise they will run the household. If you can give the time and energy to these dogs they make a very interesting and challenging pet. They do not shed because they are a corded breed. You can have the option of shaving and not have the cords but once the cords are grown in they are easy to take care of, Wash and Ware. (Birgitt, Vancouver, Canada)
Pet Training Session
Pet Training Session at Pet Smart.
Area Pet Training Instructor Michelle Dodgshon training our 15 week old Bichon Frise 'Lucky'.
Within 30 minutes Michelle had worked her magic and Lucky was able to 'Sit' Stand back up, Go down on the floor and sit flush.
Both my husband and I were very much impressed by the training provided by Michelle.
We had been trying to teach Lucky to go 'Down' for the last two weeks and every time he would just sit but not sit flush on the ground. It was a pleasant surprise that Michele was able to teach our pet to respond to the 'Down' command in about five minutes.
If you have a puppy get him into a puppy training class. They are well worth the money. (Promila, Langley

Tungsten is an adorable eleven week old male Yorkshire terrier.
Photograph shows Tungsten with his proud owners.
He is presently taking puppy training class at Pet Smart.
